Why I Founded Bubbeleh: A Space for Parents and Little Ones

Hi, I’m Kiki Grutman, founder of Bubbeleh—and first and foremost, a mom of three.

I created Bubbeleh because, like so many parents searching for baby stores or indoor play places, I craved something more. Somewhere cozy, welcoming, and designed with intention. A space you could walk into—tired, joyful, overwhelmed, all at once—and feel seen, supported, and even inspired. A place where little ones could explore and grow, and parents could take a deep breath and know they’re not alone.

 

A Space I Needed Myself

The idea for Bubbeleh began during my own journey through motherhood. I remember walking through stores and “kid-friendly” spaces that were functional—but not thoughtful. I found myself wishing for something that felt more like a hug.

So I started dreaming. What if there was a baby boutique in Miami that didn’t just offer cute clothes or toys—but a whole experience? A warm, inclusive place with a curated shop, indoor play area, and real community support for families?

That dream became Bubbeleh.

Launching a business while raising three kids isn’t exactly easy. But I knew if I was going to build something, it had to reflect what mattered most: beauty, connection, and intention.

Bubbeleh is all that for me. From our soft lighting and sensory play corners to the parenting classes and children’s gifts that actually feel meaningful—it’s all rooted in what I wanted as a mom, and what I want to share with others.
